What Have We Been Teaching?

India is a country vast, divergent and congested with problems. Problems like populous, poor, unhealthy, unrest, suffocation, etc. etc. Long term slavery describes our past. We also see series of campaign by people like Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Chanakya, Kabir, to Dayananda, Ram Mohan, Vivekananda, Gandhi, Teresa, Vinoba, JP, Anna, Arvind....etc.
We also observe the lega
cy of education being imparted only to the selected and spreading/ volunteering Spiritual (more appropriately sedative) education door to door almost free of cost. We naturally see a deep rooted abiding mind set of faith, compliance and a yes man.
Hierarchy, denial of basic human rights, self complacency, arrogance, stagnant treasure of wisdom made common man on this land too ignorant to preserve his entity. Poverty and slavery became inevitable that we see since beginning till today.
Thus there appears no stream of reasoning, brain storming, rationalizing practices among common run of man. This results in our faulty doings that are all pervading.
Today, barely 5% of the school going children are getting education in true sense. No body cares about the rest whether it is govt, teachers, parents or the students them selves. These 5% form the elite, grab power, wealth and circulate the vicious circle to leave others in eternal misery. The miserable naturally look upon the 5% as well as God to be their Massiah. What an illusion! So long cherished!
Who to intervene? God? It is not his Role! The 5%? It is like to ask a lion not to do violence.
The problem has been diagnosed. It is Ignorance. The ignorant can not shed his ignorance him self. This is the challenge. Who to take it up? The answer is - NIRLIPT BUDDHI KA DHANI ADMI. Then remains only to decide- what to be taught.
I am going to present it in my next part of the piece.
